Supporting Iran

John Kerry and President Obama worked and worked and worked, for over two years, to deal with the fact Iran was developing nuclear weapons that they, being Iran, promised to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth with.  Given their antagonistic history with the US and all, they were kinda making the same claims about us as well, most people felt a heavy hand was needed to keep them in line until the day came when a more cooperative and peaceful regime was in command.

Obama didn’t feel like patience was a good plan.  He secretly contacted Iran, which actually IS treason and a good enough reason for him to be removed from office, if not worse.  But, Republicans capitulated and Kerry just started negotiating with the country we had no formal relations with at all.

During the negotiations, the person we were actually negotiating with promised to his people he’d just lie a lot, get us off their backs, and then destroy us.  John Kerry just laughed that off.

So, after working so hard, for so long, John Kerry gives us the deal for our approval.  We give Iran $150,000,000,000 and they promise not to do anything bad.  In order to assure they are NOT doing anything bad, they will watch after themselves for twelve years.  If THEY find out THEY are doing something in violation of the non-treaty, they will invite the inspectors of their choice to the facility after sixty days, or more, have passed.

While this was being worded exactly as Iran wanted it, they were caught violating the non-treaty.  They promised not to do it again, but signed a deal purchasing the equipment to do it from North Korea, who we also don’t have a non-treaty with.  In order to help build the facilities this non-treaty may nor may not cover, they hired Russia.  Yet another not-so-cooperative non-treaty member.

Then the fun part started.  In order to get this deal approved, Obama told the Senate and Congress this deal was in fact, not a treaty.  And therefore, since it’s not a treaty, doesn’t need a simple majority to nullify the non-treaty.  In other words, only a minority has to support the non-treaty that binds the US to 150 BILLION DOLLARS and lets Iran develop both “peaceful” nuclear technology AND intercontinental ballistic missiles. In exchange for all that, this minority assure the United States citizens they get, drum roll please:

That’s it.

At the time of this writing, these Senators feel that this is a good deal, with most citing the same logic, “It’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing.”.

They’re lying to you.  It IS nothing.

Contact them and tell them this deal is bat turd crazy and only radical Muslims could support it.  Seriously, ask them what benefit it has to the average US citizen.  I have asked, you won’t get a straight answer.

But rather than tossing around labels defining the obvious. REMEMBER this when their next election rolls around.  The ONLY duty of the US federal government is to PROTECT US from evil.  If these people won’t do that, they don’t need to be in office:
